Default predator 500

My predator was working perfect one minute then the next it spit n sputtered then died. So now I added gas just to be on the safe side of things and now it fires up fine but as soon as you give it some throttle it dies out sputtering. Please if anybody can help me.

Start with the basics, check fire to plug, plus plug could be ready to be changed if looks sooty, check air cleaner, check fuel petcock for gas flow, could be trash in carb, etc. You just have to eliminate possible problems one by one. OPT

I think there may be a fuel flow problem. I was in the process of taking my carb out and I unhooked the fuel line going into the carb and then thought oh sh**** and reached to shut off the fuel and yeah nothing was flowing out so the carb is t getting fuel. I pissed around with it for a bit and it would flow a trickle but not a good flow. Which would explain why the quad would fire up and idol no problem until you give it gas then just dies out. I would appreciate any feed back... thanks...

clogged fuel filter? is there any trash or anything in the tank? You could try taking the line to the carb off the fuel petcock and turn it to on and see if it flows out. If it does, you either have a clogged filter or a pinched fuel line. If nothing comes out then first make sure you have fuel in the tank, then if you have a reserve setting try that to see if it flows.
