hey all, im new to all this. I recently "inhereted" a polaris 350 from my great uncle who used our land as storage for his old quad. It was given to me to be fixed up considering it doesn run literally at all. I've owned a dirt bike but never a quad. all i know about it is its a polaris 350 and what i usually call a utility quad. im not sure the year or anything else of the sort. so any info i could get on it to find out the extra information would be great so i can look for parts a lot easier. any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

 

Welcome to the forums! You can look up the vin number and it should tell you everything you need to know about year,make, and model of your machine. I think the FDLE website does it, but just search for vin lookup and you should be able to find a way to look it up for free.

If you look up the year from the VIN it will narrow things down. ATV VIN Number

 

Where could i find the VIN number on the quad? iv looked everywhere and cant find it.

 

The VIN is stamped into the frame. They've put it a couple of different places over the years. One place to check is under the seat. Another is behind the left front wheel IIRC.

 

Look on the right side down tube by the exhaust pipe. There should be a model number starting with a "W90 to W93"(years the 350 was made) and below that should have serial number etched in the frame. OPT

 

sounds like maybe a trail boss if older. post a pic if you can and they can tell you what it is.
