hi, we just got a 2001 trailboss 330 fourstroke the other day and today it started to sputter and skip out like it was not getting any gas, but only at a higher rpm. at idle and quarter throttle its fine, once u punch it it bogs down and skips. we checked the airfilter, cleaned the fuel lines and tank, pulled the carb out to clean everything, and still doing the same thing. any suggestions?

 

Did you take special care to make sure the jets where absolutely clean and clear? Does it have any upgrades such as intake or exhaust? If so, has it been rejetted for the accesories, if not this would probably be your problem.

 

when you cleaned the carb, did you pull the jets and clean them? like stated earlier, the orifices have to be clean. very clean.

 

there's no mods or anything like that, its 100% stock right down to the tires so theres no trouble there, we will clean out the jets and double check everything and then see if thats the problem
