Default Plow question

Hello everybody,

I have a 2005 polaris ATP 500 with the stock winch. I am going to buy a plow for the winter, and am not entirely sure what I need to get. I googled around a bit and see that I can buy a blade, mounting kit, and "lift". I am guessing I don't need the lift since I already have the winch (which I would like to use for the plow)? Do I just need a blade and mounting kit if this is the case? Anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Matt

Should be all you need is the plow and mount. Just use your winch. I like my Glacier 1 Plow and mount from Polaris. I've heard of problems with the Glacier 2 system.

I have the Glacier I and really like it too but they quit making it. There's a Glacier III that may be an improvement over the Glacier II but I haven't seen one yet.

You can still find plenty of the Glacier I systems out there reasonably priced (ebay/craigslist). Try checking out Eagle Manufacturing. They make some really nice stuff. Have their 66" v-plow on my RZR and it works great!
