Angry predator jetting issues

i have a 2006 predator. just added looney tuned exhaust. moved clip position to 4 and added 170 main jet from 150. took to sand mountain and can't get it to run right. seems like it's not getting enough fuel. bogs down at half throttle. anybody have same or similar problems??? any help on jetting would be appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum! You can't just jump several jet sizes when you add and aftermarket exhaust, air filters, etc! If stock main jet was say 150 you need to have several larger jets in case they are needed.
155,160,165,170,etc. Plus always do a plug chop with the stock jetting to start out with if it seems to run ok as is! That is at high speed just kill the engine, coast to a stop, let it cool and check that the spark plug is light to a medium tan on the base of the plug and electrode. If it's WHITISH then too lean! You may only need to raise the needle if just hesitates a bit! If it falls on its face and then catches up you know it needs usually more fuel and larger jetting.Rule of thumb is one size larger than stock for an exhaust system, but this depends on temperature, altitude, etc! You may have gone too large on jetting if it boggs down! Just trial and error until you find the right jet and no bogging or hesitation, plus ALWAYS do a plug check. Hope this helps OPT
