Magnum 425
I am needing a new starter for my magnum 425. How do I find out what year the bike is? I cant seem to find any markings on the frame as to what year it is. I currently have all of the plastics off of it, so getting to any spot on the frame is pretty easy right now.

Check DB electrical. Can get a starter as low as $48 for the Magnum. (ALL Magnums,Scrambler 500s,Sportsman 500s,Trail Boss 325s and 330s actually take the same starter.(except 2009 models and later show a different number)
Check by the exhaust on the right side down tube frame brace,has the model # and frame number etched. OPT

The vin should be on the left side of the frame, near the front. Put your vin in the link here and it should give you the year model.
