Congrats on the new touring, I'm sure you will love it.

That is one nice bike you got rid of, thanks for the pics, you've given me a few ideas what I need for my new 850 xp that I just got, gotta add stuff slow so the wife doesn't notice, lol.

Your wife may not notice much as long as you use your man stash and keep the quad out of site out of mind. My wife will sometimes see the quad and say is that something new and I simply reply what that things been on there for ever. That came off my old quad. Or I made it at work,(which is actually true sometimes) And her response is usually huh? I guess I never noticed it before. But you gotta add slowly so it's not so obvious. And if you do get caught, deny everything and only give out name, rank and serial number. Now if I could only pick up a stealth XP and convince her I just modified the body, seat and headlight pod and about everything else on my 07 but that may be just a little over the top.

The touring has heavier springs in the rear than its single rider counterpart and has a stiffer ride with only one person on due to it being designed primarily for carrying two riders.

I find the longer wheel base to be a plus climbing steep inclines but a hindrance in tight spaces. My 550 doesn't turn near as sharp as my single rider ATV.

How did you like you Black Diamond XTRs?
I love the Black Diamond XTR's with the C7 wheels. Keeps my unit at about 51 inches wide with the shocks in the 2nd setting. I can get it to 50 inches by going to max on the setting. As soon as I made the call to order a touring I ordered a new set of tires & wheels.

I am also in the process of designing a new rear hard box for the unit that will work with the lock and ride system. Kind of like what I had on my red XP.
