Default hitch?

What hitch do you guys run on the scrambler 400 2 strokes? I do a lot of work with my 02 4x4(unreal the tree it will pullout) and will be buying a utility trailer to do brush and rocks and who knows what.

Any help would be great..

Not sure if this would work or not. You'd probably have to ask your local Polaris dealer. Detail It's similar to the hitch I bought for a Polaris Xplorer 250. You have to take off the two big bolts that clamp the axle housing.

Okay that is an option but does anyone make a 4" square receiver style? I guess could pickup the style you are talking about and have a tube welded on?

Not sure. Did you mean a 2" receiver? Still, I don't know of any makers that produce a 2" receiver for a sport style live axle with a chain. Maybe someone else knows of a maker?

The only hitch for it I've seen for it is what Moose posted. But there are 2" recievers that are made to bolt onto that type of hitch.

I wanted the same style for my 2010 scrambler and came up empty.

My thought is to get the kind of hitch I found and get a set of hitch ***** that can be changed. Something like this: Master Lock 2867DATSC Hitch Ball Interchangeable Summit | eBay Make sure you check the hole on the hitch for size so you get the right shaft size for the interchangeable ball.

That's a very good idea thank you. I did see a 2" tube welded onto the first hitch you told me about and it looked okay but definitely low.

In the thread "Post the last thing you MADE for your Polaris" is a link to a 2 inch receiver type hitch someone made.
