2013

Makes sense since a Renegade is the same machine as the Outlander Utility but with sporty plastics and no racks.
Power is not Polaris goal since most ATV are down on power compared to there Snowmobiles. Polaris had a 750 twin 4stroke in there sleds and PWC that makes much more power then even the 800 to 1000 ATV motors make.
Same Goes with Arctic cat ,there 1000 ATV makes only 80hp while there 1000 Sled makes 125hp and 170hp with turbo asist added on.
I like to see a ATV that can switch from low range to High range while on the fly for 2013.

lol i love your snowmobile comparisons. of course they are worried about power, they added more to the 850 did they not? stop comparing sleds to quads because quads dont have to drag a track and skis THROUGH SNOW that is why sleds are so powerful, for deep snow. if you ask me a 500 or 600 2 stroke is plenty for most in a sled anyway

No the 550 is in a big heavy full size frame, I did not want that. I ride a lot
of tight 50 inch trail and wanted a 450-550 in a mid size frame around the
600lb mark & the 450 grizzly is 43 inches wide with a 48.5 inch wheel base.
I still have the Polaris stickers on my truck & trailer but the clock is ticking
they just won't make what I want. If they don't update the scrammy I most
likely will buy another brand again.

I get the distinct feeling that there won't be too much new this year.
When I decided to get a new quad recently I tried to get an 850 X2. The only one the dealer could find nearby was one used by another dealer to plow snow. No thanks. If they had kept the 850 X2 available I might have gone that direction. I also looked at the Polaris Touring and was disappointed to say the least. Why did they make the driver's seat like a saddle? You'd end up fighting to stay back on the seat. Also, I could see it being a problem with my back. The other thing I didn't like is that there is no place to put a good sized box with the passenger seat mounted. Sometimes I don't think Polaris puts a lot of thought into some of their decisions. That being said, I still think Polaris and Can-Am are the most innovative makers out there.

other eps 450 or maybe go with the eps 550 or 700 grizzly (a tad wider & heavier
than the 450 but not that much) I test rode a 500 renny at a dealer test track & It
was nice, felt somewhat like my scrammy only with irs, but BOY do u sit tall on it
I starting to think that another grizzly might suit me better. I will see what polaris
comes out with for 2013. I'm guessing another new razor & BNG for the scrammy!!!!
