Mr Crankshaft. Check out his website and call him. His name is Vic. Very very nice guy. Very reasonable prices. He will rebuild crank, replace rod, rephase, and even install the bearing your provide for a great price.

Im in the same boat. i have a 250 Trail Boss that blew a bearing. I need the rod removed and replaced along with new bearings.

I actually have a email into these guys and am still waiting for a response. for some reason i really cant find anything for this motor except for new. $690 is pretty steep for something that still has the problematic rods. if i'm gonna spend that kind of money i would like to find upgraded rods for the bike if possible and spend good money on something that's stronger, but i can' even find the parts. i found all kids of stuff for 700 snowmobile and 700 water craft motors, but nothing for this 700.

Tough to find anyone to work on the 700 atv crank, I had problems myself from 2002 until I retired ,but thought by now with plenty of em running around someone would be able to. OPT

Weird, they emailed me back the next day. Anyway, the guy Vic is old school. He claims to have worked for polaris in the 90's building and rebuilding engines. I would call them. You won't be disappointed. What do you have to lose? You best case so far is $700.00!!! Give it a try and let us know.

ok guys i made a few calls and everyone is telling me that this crank is not rebuildable due to its design. but they did recommend i call hot rods and get a crankshaft from them for 600 or a custom billet crank from the crank works for 1900. so i guess ill be getting a a hot rods crank. thanks for the help from everyone.
