I have a polaris 2012 sportsman 550 eps, what is the best motor oil. I am very close to the first change. I also have a polaris 1999 explorer 300 two stroke, again what is the best oil for that one. Thanks in adbvance.

 

"Full" Synthetic 0w-40 *insert brand here* I use "Amsoil" myself or Polaris ,s own stuff sometimes.

The only thing two stroke I have is Snowmobiles and I had good luck with Castrol injection oil.

 

It calls for 2w50 but any full syn 0w40, 5w40 or 5w50 will do if you can find it.

 

I have always run polaris fluids in all my rides with no issues. If your ride is still under warranty buy all popo stuff, keep receipts, and log the service. You will need proof of this if you have a need for any warranty work done on it!

 

I find Amsoil is a good oil to use , in fact I keep a good stock and run it in all my machines [IMG][/IMG]

 

I only use Polaris fluids in my machines. Others may work, but be sure you only use Polaris Demand Drive Plus in the front end and ADC.
