Ok guys, I am in the process of rebuilding my 1995 250 Polaris Trail Boss. I will be putting the transaxle back in soon. I figure while its out, Maybe I should drain whatever fluid or grease is inside and replace it.

Is this recommended? There is no problem with the transaxle. ALSO, what fluid do I use? Is is grease or oil? And what kind? Please advise.

If you're talking about the gear case,it tales Polaris AGL or any equivalent oil designed for chain driven gear cases. OPT
