Clean the flywheel and stator are, this was the major problem area on the little ones. If you still have problems look here to see if they have a manual that will help.PartShark.com - Motorcycle Parts, ATV Parts, UTV Parts, PWC Parts, Powersports Apparel, Motorcycle Accessories for OEM and Aftermarket. Plus with wiring messed with, could be anything? Manual will help. OPT

Most of the problems I had were stator related, but look on the pdf manual you have for the stator and coil resistance specs if after cleaning the stator you still don't have spark. At least this will help you start eliminating problems one step at a time. What you have to do when thieves have screwed with the wiring, plus if in doubt on the ignition switch just replace it. About $30 at Cycle Parts Warehouse. OPT

If you end uo needing a stator, this oneis the same except the ID od the seal is different. I used one and popped my old seal out and reused it in the new stator. The seaal just keeps grease in the crank where the injection pump drives. Or order a new seal from polaris.
Runs perfect and much cheaper.

Just because the engine is the same doesn't mean the electrical components are! I've had several people try to use different parts from other machines and a lot of times they wont work. Best to use an oem stator if you're sure it's the problem or try this place and see if they can help. Cdi module takes the place of the old points and condenser. It times the small spark signal it gets from the stator then sends it to the ignition coil where it's amplified. Pm LynnEdwards in the Chinese section as he is the top dog in electronics on the little Chinese/Korean atvs. OPT
