Default predator HELP!

Ok I have a few questions and any help would be awesome!!!
I just picked up a 2004 predator 500 and it is not running as of now but did the day before!!
I cleaned the carb and check for a spark and it is getting a nice blue spark so thats not my issue and I even tried spraying some starting fluid in the carb and all she will do id turn over!!! So what could it possibly be? I heard the valves needing adjusting could be my issue and was told I could roll it off and it would start. What do yall think? Im going to try pulling it around behind my raptor tomorrow and see it it will start.
Ok and now onto question 2!! When I got it the air duct/snorkle is gone and on the side of the carb towards the top there's a little filter that look's like a pvc valve there and it just looks like there should be a hose hooked on the bottom of it. Should there be?
Any help will be much appreciated!!!

If it wont at least try to start with ether could be because of tight valves and loss of compression. I've had a couple brought into the shop that weren't running because of this. Had one that just died on the customer while riding. The Predator needs to have the valves checked more frequently than any other Polaris and most people don't. It has a shim under bucket system valve adjustment that is best to have someone qualified and has all the shims to do the job. The filter valve on the side of the carb belongs there.Look here under "carb" on your model. Browse Plus on the Predator you have to have a good fully charged battery or you can have trouble starting. OPT

Thanks for helping!!!
I tried pulling it off today behind my raptor and it doesnt even try to start it blows my mind it's getting gas and its getting a hot spark so what gives?
It has good compression or so it seems it would lock the rear end up in third gear whille trying to roll it off.
So what could it be?
Thanks again for the help!!!

If the carb jets are clean and open, you have fuel, spark and air then only thing I can think of is compression. Either valves too tight, piston damage?? OPT
