Default OPT QUESTION for you

What does the Thumb throttle box do or what is it there for?

It houses the throttle cable along with the etc switch(electronic control switch). Keep throttle slack no more than 1/8" at the thumb lever or the etc switch contact points can touch and the atv will die at idle or pop back through the exhaust coming down from a high rpm. It's main function is in case the cable is snagged by a limb,etc, it will limit the rpm.
