Have your battery checked. Had a similar situation with my 2006 Sportsman X2 500 EFI. Battery cleared it up. If it has already been replaced, I'm not sure what would cause this.

EFI system seems to take a bit of juice to run. Had a tough time getting the quad back to the truck. Had to pull start it more than a few times.

on top of checking the battery, does it smell rich or backfiring a bit? Mine was doing the same thing and sure enough one of the wires was broken at the t-bap/map sensor or whatever you want to call it. If so check out the sticky on this issue. The link to the guy making them are heavier than the stock wiring repair kit from polaris. Seem to be a common problem with many of the efi's ,but mine hasn't failed since the repair with the better kit. (the sticky is at the top of the expert section)

Just check the small wiring from the map sensor connector(mounted on the intake manifold) and the tps sensor wiring(mounted on the throttle body) down to where they tie into the main wiring harness. Look for any bare or soft feeling wires(internal breakage) Sensors are usually not the problem, just the thin wiring. Only The Best
