Xplorer 400 2 stroke

Default Xplorer 400 2 stroke

So my buddy just picked up an Xplorer 400 2 stroke and thinks its the baddest thing in the world. What are everyones thoughts on these? Are they really that great?

they do get up and go. good power on the 400 2 stroke.

Well im not going to have a chance to ride until i get back in two weeks. He thinks that it will beat my Brute 750

not sure of the weight to HP on either machine but i wanna bet the 2 stroke will be a lil quicker but u may have to pull him out of the mud..unless ur heavy brute sinks too

I guess it might be a little quicker, quicker to the shop that is!

The Xplorer 400 is a quick machine but I don't see a stock one having near the power of a Brute Force 750. To get near the power of a Brute Force 750 he would probably need a bigger carb, exhaust, airbox mods, aftermarket reeds, higher compression head and clutching. Even with those mods he might still need some cylinder porting to run with the Kawasaki, depending on if the BF 750 has anything done to it.

I've got a Polaris Xplorer 400 2 stroke and I find they have a lot of get up and go power but only for a short distance, the seem to top out and thats all you get. I've also found they seem to to like to sit alot as they break often. I'd say they have nothing on your 750 brute.

if the 400 is running right, he will smoke you out of the hole, but you will beat him on top end. my 800's would just be a little fasyer then my friends 750's he had.
