I went snowmobiling last weekend and finally seen them in action on a ATV for myself. There slow but awesome in deep virgin soft snow. It takes a real effort for them to get stuck even on purpose.

There heavy things to turn I don,t think I would put them on a ATV that has no low range.

Apparently the there are two types, one for snow only and one for all season?

I had the first gen Polaris Prospectors on one of my 800sp's and then upgraded to Prospector Pro-S tracks which I ran on my 09 800sp and then on my 09 standard RZR. The first gen tracks were snow only and the Pro-S can run year around (at $750 per rubber track I wouldn't run them in anything but snow).

If top end is a concern, the Popo tracks lose the least. Tatou's are nice and don't know much about Mattracks (except they're the most expensive and pretty heavy).

Never had a problem turning them on either machine and plowed TONS of snow.

How'd they do in high range?

Didn't run in high often but never had any issues with tranny/belt/axles/etc.
