Scrambler 400 nets

Default Scrambler 400 nets

Is there any way that I can put nets on a 2001 polaris scrambler 400 I think they look way better than stock and I have seen them on YouTube

Also is there a way to put double a arms on the front

Have plenty of em here (if some one doesn't have a better idea) You'd have to modify. Nerf Bars | MotoSport Double a-arms would cost more than the atv is worth if you could even rig it up!

Speed Werx/Hot Seat used to sell nerfbars for the Scrambler/Sport/Trailblazer but I'm not sure if they still have them in stock. I have a set on my Sport 400 and they're actually nice, but kind of expensive for what they are IMO. You have to do some cutting and drilling to put them on but they fit perfect the first time. If you wanted to save some money you could buy a set of steel nerf bars for just about any type of sport quad and put them on with a little modification.

If you're going to go to the trouble of trying to put a double A-Arm suspension on the front of your Scrambler you would probably be better off buying a roller chasis from a 450 race quad or a Raptor and putting the Scrambler motor in it IMO. The front suspension is only a small part of the problem with how a Scrambler handles. The design of it is based off of a utility quad and was never really made to handle like a race quad. You can make some decent power with the Polaris motor but it will never handle like a true race quad in the air or on the ground IMO.

Both of those look like great machines I looked at speedwerx early but didn't find any nets are all of your mods hsp I'm thinking of GETING some mods for my scrambler

That's a nice Scrambler that you have. There's a ton of stuff that you can do to it to make it more fun to ride and also faster. The 3 best things that you can do to it to make it easier to ride is change the handlebars to ones with a different height and sweep to better suit your riding style, get a steering stabilizer for it and a more aggressive set of tires.

The majority of the stuff that has been done to my Sport is from Hot Seat except for my cylinder porting. With my cylinder I had Rick Ritter (owner of RCR/Ritter Cycle Racing) do all the port work on it to match my engine/carb/exhaust/ignition combination and all that I can say is that is a VERY aggressive port job and Rick is the man to go to for cylinder work IMO. The clutching has been done by me after several months of testing with various combinations of primary and secondary clutch parts. I also have a wet nitrous kit from Nitrous Oxide Systems on the Sport that I play around with from time to time.

Thank you I have a newer set of tires on tip wells will a steering stabizer make it harder to steer what exactly does it do
I am currently looking at a comet clutch it says 25% gain in power what is your opinion on clutch springs for top end

A steering stabilizer is similar to a small shock absorber that mounts on your steering stem and frame. You can adjust the stiffness of it and it helps to keep your handlebars from being ripped out of your hands in rough terrain while making it easier to steer your quad.

On a quad with a stock cylinder port job, stock pipe, stock bore & stroke, stock ignition, stock compression ratio and stock carb I think that adding a clutch kit, different primary clutch, different secondary clutch or different primary spring to try and get more top end speed is going to be a waste of money but that's just my opinion. With the PVT (Polaris Variable Transmission) all of the things that I listed before are going to determine the max RPM's that reach and where your power curve is going to be in the RPM range. Like I stated in your other post, your money would be better spent elsewhere than going with the Coment clutch at this point IMO.

If it were me I would take my money that I was going to spend on the clutch kit and contact a company like Aaen, Hot Seat/Speed Werx or Rick Ritter and get a different pipe and primary spring. You can buy a new pipe and primary spring from any of them for under $300 and all 3 places will be more than happy to suggest which primary spring to go with the pipe that you choose or atleast they used to, it's been several years since I've dealt with any of those places.
