The fellow that I bought my clutch spring from (Ritter Racing) suggested that maybe I could connect an Aaen pipe to the Scrambler muffler. He said he hadn't used an Aaen pipe, but he connected an HPD pipe to the Scrambler muffler and the two were a bolt-up match. Have you heard of anyone doing that? From what I hear the Aaen pipe/silencer combo is kind of loud. The gentleman at Ritter told me that HPD is no longer making pipes for the Trail Blazer, that's why he suggested Aaen. Personally, I love the sound of a screaming two-stroke, but not everyone shares my enthusiasm for that!

Anything that Rick tells you, believe it. He did the motor work on my blazer and I got the stage 1 kit from him for the boss.

Great guy, knows his stuff around these quads and has great service too.

Might be some over on ebay for sale. Can't say for sure as I haven't checked.

Might be one on the back bottom corner that has a plug in it. That's a drain, and I'd keep it too.
If I could add pictures on my phone I would but it get cut out when you do the air box mod and cut that hole bigger but the tube goes like 5" in and stops at the bottom of the filter so if I cut that I would probably get better air flow and still be able to keep snorkel just in case?

The picture I showed was just an example, the holes don't have to be that big. I'll have to look at the lid on our this weekend to see how much room there is. I've done this on the boss, it's flat behind the snorkel inlet so it was pretty easy on that.

I also recently put a 125 jet in my 01 TB. I also dropped the needle and put in a new air filter. The old plug was all carboned up and black. I noticed a good difference in the smoothness of the engine a little bit. It cleans out better when accelerating. I also put in a white Polaris spring too. Before the mods it would " 4 cycle way too much when accelerating. I know its not as smooth as a 4 stroke engine but seams to be more peppy. The new b8es plug i have in it has a light brownish color to it. I could try to post a before and after spark plug picture to see what you guys think about the jetting. i am also running amsoil interceptor oil in it.

I had a Trailblazer 250 once many years ago, first quad I ever owned. I had a clutch kit and K&N air filter and exhaust and jetting for the exhaust. It helped quite a bit but I eventually stepped up to a Scrambler 500. You can find those pretty cheap used now and you get the benefit of having 4x4 as well as having much more power. If you really like how a 2-stroke sounds, get a Scrambler 400 4x4 instead. Still has a lot more power than a Trailblazer completely stock.

A couple of them scramblers are being parted out. Plus i want to keep the engine simple. but i am looking around a little thought maybe for a third polaris quad.
