Default hard to change gears on Touring model

Hey guys, last year we bought a 2010 Sportsman 500 H.O. Touring used and it is a little difficult to put in gear sometimes? the shifter just doesnt wanna budge and we have no idea what to do to fix it? We also just bought a 2011 model used and it has the same problem? is this just a normal thing for the Touring models?

Make sure the idle is around 1100-1180 rpm. If idle is too high it can be hard to shift. Plus if it creeps while in gear, could be belt is grabbing the side of the clutch and clutches may need to be aligned. Idle speed adjustment **** is on the bottom of the carb, plus make sure you have a little slack(1/8" max) on the throttle lever. Its adjustment is on the throttle cable under a rubber sleeve down from the throttle housing.

i drained the old AGL fluid out of my transmission

and i added 1 small bottle of concentrated duralube manual / automatic transmission fluid additive and topped it up with fresh AGL fluid , my transmission shifts like butter now
