Default Loose swingarm

Please see the video below. My swingarm is loose. Can this be tightened at all or is this just due to bad bearings? From the video the swingarm just appears to be loose. It is not pivoting in the bushings on the mounts. I read in the Haynes manual that the PVT has to come off as well as the rear fenders and racks. Is that true? Does all that need to come off to access the swingarm mounts?

fenders and rack can stay on but, pvt does need to come off.
clutch puller for drive clutch will be needed.
I have found the best way to keep them tight is to use thicker nuts and drill through nut and bolt cotter key them once tight.
getting new thin nylocks and lock washers from polaris work ok.
I found once they got loose once, it was hard to keep them tight.

If the swing arm bushings are worn #16 and #18(especially the inner bushings #18) you'll have play even if the swing arm bolts and nuts are tight in the pivot caps on the gear case. I've had to replace quite a few of these over the years along with new washers. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
