ok i resolved my low end bogging with the help of Rick and Bubba(thanks guys).just a little jetting 101 was all i needed.
i also took of the air box lid and that helped too. when i put it back on i noticed the difference.(maybe it just wasnt louder anymore,no more air sucking noise??)
i ride in dusty terrain and sometimes in water and want to protect my bike from getting water damage. any suggestions? i was thinking of wrapping my filter with some fine cloth that lets it breath and at the same time trap dust kind of like the K&N prechargers i think?
thanks again guys.

oh and ive asked but thought id ask again what is the difference from a Scrambler and a Sport?

Polaris discontinued the Sport in 2000, just the name, it is now called the Scrambler 2x4, and comes in red.

I would suggest the RcR air box mod instead of removing the air box lid.

Ritter gives you a new filter with the kit (nice foam one) Just get yourself a 1 3/8" drill bit to cut the hole with it makes a nice tight fit. Rick if you read this great job on all your kits you make it easy on us do-it-yourselfers.

Your K&N will work fine with the air box mod, but you get a new Uni-Filter with the kit. The Uni supposedly filters more dirt.
