Default What a day

I had a deal all worked out with a local dealer for a nice little xplorer 400, while I was working out the details of getting a small loan one of the other employees took the sold sign off and sold it. I was quite ticked to say the least. had to take the check back to the bank

Well to make a long story short after making my displeasure known the general manager offered me a pretty dang good deal on a 04 Polaris atp 500 ho,

don't know a lot about this particular machine, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure it had the ECM recall done if its on the list. CPSC - Polaris Industries Expands Recall of ATVs Due to Fire Hazard
Other then that is that ATV not just a stretched frame 500 Sportsman?

Seems like the owners like them if you read their input reviews. Vehicle Reviews for 2004 Polaris ATP 500 H.O.

Id take the 4 stroke Fuji 500 motor over the xplorer 400 2 stroke any day.

You're a lot better off with the 500 atp versus the 400 2 stroke as far as maintenance and reliability. I'd consider yourself lucky on this one!
