Painting control arms??
After seeing my friends 04.5 500HO with the nice red control arms, the RZR 1000 at the sled show, and an XP 850, I want to paint my control arms red.
I priced powder coating them, it will rin close to $400 up here, so opting for paint instead. Dad has a nice Devillbiss spray gun, so it will get done right, no rattle cans.
My question is, if I knock the bushings out, will I screw them up? Going to check them out tomorrow, and see if the bushings are still tight.
If I can re-use them, do I grease them up to make getting them out easier?
Want to do all 6 control arms.

Since it's fairly new you should be able to turn and twist the bushings out. Main thing is to loosen both 9/16" a-arm bolts at the same time until you can remove them by hand. If you take one out at a time the other may just spin in the a-arm shaft. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
