Default Possible CRITICAL problem- Help

Good morning folks.
2003 Sportsman 700- (Well taken care of!)
I have noticed that in the last month, It is a little tougher to start and immediately upon starting, you smell hot coolant. While it warms up, you smell coolant in the exhaust. After 15 seconds, it runs perfectly!
idles well, great power and smooth.

I Worry that this is a cracked block.
PLEASE tell me that I am wrong!!????? HELP!

Thank you all.

Look on this forum or simply do a Google search on Sportsman 700 ignition problems. This is an ongoing problem to where the Ducati ignition has been updated to a Kokusan #2202602 complete kit.Cost is around $500 but the kit is complete. They start out being hard to start, cooling problems, along with dead batteries. Some have even killed the machines only to go back later and they wouldn't start. Here' the pdf instructions along with what's supplied in the kit.Plus you can check Cycle Parts Warehouse,Cheap Cycle Parts,Bike Bandit, etc as to the best price.http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...56643336,d.b2I
