Question new tire choices for 06 sportsman 500

its time for new tires on my 06 sportsman and I am looking for any helpful feedback from anyone who has changed theirs.there are so many choices and I don't want buyers remorse on such an expensive long term purchase.i have the original pxt tires and they have been good all around.one thing I have noticed since day one is in tight corners it wants to plow straight ahead unless I snap the *** end around with the throttle.it may just be a very aggressive locking rear but the front tires seem a little narrow to me.im thinking of going 1 inch wider up front to 26x9x12.i was looking at itp mud lites, gbc sparticus, kenda bear claws and some others.i ride on mostly clay like dirt and some fast moving hard packed trails but I like to hit the mud and also plow with it.if anybody out there has the same type machine has any useful feedback on new tires they bought I would greatly appreciate it.thanks

have you looked at the dirt tamers by gbc, they do well in the mud for what they are, a lot of the guys i ride with that dont want a real agressive tire love it. Or are you looking for "mud tires"

Luv the GBC tires. Best choice of all that I've ridden (and I've ridden most of them) is the GBC Grim Reaper for an all purpose tire.

I like an aggressive looking tire but I don't want to sacrifice ride on the fast moving dirt trails I do a lot of riding on.the grim reaper is on my list too,i also like the look of interco reptiles.are the reapers good in snow?

Not yet but they were my #2 choice when i bought the Reapers. Riding conditions here didn't warrant the tread design.

I never had a complaint with their performance so I can;t comment on that.
