Default ? for Opt

On the ignition upgrade for 2002 700 models where does the ground wire behind the stator mount at ??? and the plastic tabs holding the wires down to the stator do they suppose be cut or left alone ? Thanks.

Never mind I see in the instruction that the tabs are left on and the ground goes behind the stator wire hold down bolt.. .appreciate it anyway.

You're welcome.. Instructions aren't clear on the ground wires and also the red wire that you have to dig for in the main harness that's used with the jumper harness.

Actually where is this red wire located ??? cause I want to know where it's located before I have problems finding it.

Main group of wires under the front panel that branch off to the speedo,switches etc. You just have to start separating wires to find the one unused red wire by itself that the connector has been sealed. Just strip the excess plastic and it ties into the jumper harness.

I found a unused red white stripe wire in the harness with a female end .. is that the one ??

Read the instructions! Says to find the RED power wire. The red/white wire is powered only with the key on and is an auxiliary wire normally used for accessories.
