Default Polaris Scrambler Winch

I have a 2012 polaris scrambler 500HO. I am looking to get a winch for it, the winch will be used only to get me unstuck. Does anybody have a recommendations for me on which brand to get and what winches will fit my atv?

I've had good luck with Warn winches. A Scrambler mount may be hard to find but some guys have made their own.

Here is my cousins 2000 500 Scrambler. He just bought a off brand (Campion) 2000lb winch and made his own mounting plate but it always gets him out of anything. I,d look for a 2500lb winch atleast though.

I agree about getting a 2500 pound winch. I always like the winch capacity to be 3 times the weight of the machine. That way you know it can pull you out of bad mud holes.

Steer clear of the sub-$ 100 winches , get one that has a solenoid , the Champion in your picture you'll notice has four larger power wires going to the switch , a cheap setup , go for a little better .
