a polaris expedition 425 or sportsman 400 i want a relibable muddin machine i will prob use it for muddin and trail ridin the most some work though

 

wow that is a tough one, the Sportsman has better ride, power wise they have the same motor but the Xpedtion is lighter.The Xpedition is not as complicated so the odds are it will hold up better under hard use. As for mudding well the Sportsman has more ground clearance, but that can be adressed by bigger tires for the Xpedition, I guess it boils down to do you want to shift or not or do you require a great ride? not that the Xpedition is harsh to ride on cause it is not but the Sportsman is the best riding machine out there.
