Ok just ordered the ignition kit for my 02 700 and learned I needed to dig a red wire with a female end and this the one I found could someone tell me who has already installed the kit is the correct wire that ties into jumper wire.

Nope, this red/white is an auxiliary wire that's powered up only when the key is on. A lot of people think this is the wire. Dig deeper into the harness and you'll find a red wire that has melted plastic on the end. This is the hot wire that you use.

Hate to keep bothering you but I looked at the instructions and it shows that the wire is red and striped running from the jumper, so is it difference in the wiring on different year models

Read line 15 on your instructions closely. Not all of the jumper harnesses are used. Plus the red (power) wire is mentioned.

Guess the 600 is different than the 700,can't remember all of them. Instructions show red for the 700,but doesn't mention any difference for the 600? Guess the jumper used determines it. Didn't do many 600s,mostly 700s. Glad you got it running..
