Default 04 600 clunky noise

My 600 is making a clunking noise that I'm pretty sure is in the u joints, I just can't tell which one. It makes the noise when you shift, and when you get in and out of the throttle.
Is there anything else I should look for?
I sure wish I had a stand to put this thing up on. Just by looking and pushing/pulling on the drive shafts everything seems pretty clean and tight.

Any suggestions on where to order parts would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike.

Just jack the rear up and have it in neutral. Rock the rear tire back and forth and check the short prop shaft u-joints going from the gear case to the rear diff. You can tell quick if this is the problem joints or if it's the prop shaft joints going from the front of the gear case to the front diff. Parts are available here. http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...ion_detail.asp All 4 ujoints have the same part number. #2202105 plus Napa part#338 listed here can interchange. Plus clunking may be in the cv or plunging joints on the rear drive shafts.

I replaced the U-joint for my 2002 700 sp rear prop shaft (did not need to move rear diff).
BUT that clunk could be in the clutching and is somewhat typical but got better with the rubber dampened Team RR secondary.
