Default Ranger Rims on a Sportsman

I have my eye on some stock rims that came off a 03 or earlier Ranger and just wondered if they will work out on my 04 sportsman, the diamenter and bolt pattern are good, I was concerned about the offset.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

Just measure the off set with a tape and see if there the same.

Should work according to this chart they both have a 4+3 offset. ATV Tire and Wheel Application Chart : ATV Tires Free Shipping : ATV Wheels : Mud-Throwers.com

I bought the Ranger rims, it turns out they had the same offset as my original steel rims.
Now I'm just wondering if the standard studs are long enough.
The rims are thicker but came with tapered lug nuts, probably get approx. 1/2" of the stud threaded into the lug nut.
I wonder is this typical, I'm sure a lot of folks have upgraded from steel to aluminum rims.
Would like to know what others find acceptable on the stud length.
Thanks
Paul

I thought the same thing when I put my aluminum rims on. The original studs turned out to be plenty long with the tapered lugs, though. 2000 Sportsman with 14" rims and 26" tires.
