Wow king, nice response there. Best thing you wrote though is how you'll catch the Explorer in the mud. That's got to be that funniest damn thing I've heard all day! How does that belt hold up on a Polaris? I must be pretty lucky because I've yet to see a belt burn up. Ten years from one $30 belt. Is that any good? Hmmm, I've never experienced my front wheels catching in 2 wheel drive. Ohhhh, that chain, must be a real pain in the ***! I must have been lucky again to get 10 years from my chain and sprockets. Can't say I've slipped a hub-clitch, or as we call it "CLUTCH". Man, all this from a 1989 Polaris!?? Never rebuilt the 2 stroke engine. Got 10 years from chain, sprockets, and belt. I've been through 7 Polaris machines since 1989. 6 of which were 2 stroke, chain drive, and 4 wheel drive. But what would I know?

I have to agree with Quadfather, the only people who would actually buy a Suzuki are people who know absolutly nothing about ATV's, and don't do any research before they buy.
If they even took the time to LOOK at another quad they would know something was up with the Kingquad. It might be acceptable in a very limited range of conditions, but overall it doesn't deserve to exist.

Let me tell you about the KQ.It has remained vertually UNCHANGED since its introduction in the mid 80s.I TOTALLY agree with whoever stated that the only people that buy KQs are the ones who did NOT do their home work on NEW 4x4 ATVs before buying.ANYONE who researced all 4x4 ATVs BEFORE buying a new 4x4 would most likly NOT buy a little 280cc KQ with more gears than a big rig and no suspension.

The KQ?
1.Underpowered BIG TIME.
2.Brakes,forget mudding with one,the brake drums will FILL with mud everytime
3.If the KQ had a REAL motor,it would NOT need all them gears.
4.So small,it feels like im riding a mini bike when compared to my Polaris 4x4
5.Turning radius really stinks
And your mighty KQ out weighs my Xplorer to,you see,a 00 model Xplorer weighs in at 588 lbs, while your KQ weighs in at 606,so dont tell me all about the weight thing either.

There is absolutly NOTHING I like more about a KQ over a Xplorer. My Xplorer will SMOKE it in a drag race, rides 100x better, steers better, handles better, has much better ground clearance,is by far the superior mudder, mine will do as much or more work in ANY temperature, and to top it off,it is LIQUID cooled.

Those things you mentioned about the belts/hub clutches and 4wd?Ride with me once, you'll see who's pulling out who?

''Dont worry,be happy'',I'll pull you out!

hey bill,
believe it or not,i agree with you on this one.
i've found the only thing better about a suzuki than a polaris is the amount of time the owner spends bragging one one. lets all go play and see who ends up helping who.

hey king,
hows your *** and lower back feel at the end of about a 100 mile ride through the rough stuff?
just currious.

I've had my 2WD TBlazer's up against king quads when we were hunting. I'm sorry to say, but I was doing better then them. I just had chains on the rear tires. They had their King Quads all done up nice with the big tires and lift kits. And we were just seein what we could do. So I slapped on my chains and we went for a ride through some mud/snow. I made it through it all without getting stuck, while he got suck in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th holes out of 10. Hehe a little Polaris 250 whoopin up on a big Suzi Q.

If you morons could stuff your friggin' ego's where the sun don't shine we could enjoy a forum on a subject we all enjoy. Let this dick-head spout off, then go back to his pitiful, meager existence. He tells you what he's up to, and most still insist on humoring him. Sometimes I think he's not the dumb one.
