well simplest way to explaine it is I have removed ever part that is not need for a race quad an any brackting for like the rear light shifter the fender sapports skid plate changed the floorboars an put on nerfs an pegs dougles rims an aftermarket pipe an silancer save weight from the stock one. No lights no oil injection no reverse gear in trans I have cut off an the the shift lever mounts. Ever little piece that is removed saves weight even some thing that might weight 1/2 a pound an if you are serious about losing weight then an you have pretty good machenical skill then tear it down to the bear frame an as you rebuilt it you can see what you need an what you don't need it all a matter of what you want to use your quad for mine is for racing only so I have built it for that only. I would love to see TB all over that handle good an run well. If you need to know about anything spasific let me know this has been a 3year project for me an it keep getting better at least I think Fly Polaris I do Will be racing in 2 weeks an can't want to se how it fly's
