Not sure where to buy them but when you do get one this is the "screw" trick to change it. 500 waterpump
The 425 is the same motor as the 500 just smaller bore and stroke.

Only if the oil seal behind the water pump seal is leaking also.I'd pressurize the cooling system to 10psi and see if you have a head or base gasket bubbling/ leaking first. Look for any noticeable leaking under the water pump cover at the "weep hole". If this area is dry the w/p seal should be ok. There is a dry space between the back of the w/p seal and the face of the oil seal where the weep hole is. If either seal fails, oil or coolant will drip from the weep hole. If seals are needed you can get the w/p and oil seal together here.Takes the same seal as the 500 engine.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Polaris-Sportsman-400-425-500-Water-Pump-Seal-and-Oil-Seal-Kit-3084837-3084836-/151281803859?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2339192253&vxp=mtr Word of caution if you do have to change the seals.By using screw drivers, punches, etc you take a chance on bending the oil pump/water pump shaft. That will cost a lot more than 49 bucks for the seals. I've had to replace several that people tried to replace the seal with out the right tool and bent the shaft.Item #15 on the parts break down. The shaft is fairly cheap,($54) but the labor isn't to replace it!!
