Default 2014 big boss vs 2015outlander xt 6x6

Hi, I'm looking for input on the differences between the two 6x6s. Does anyone know of any reviews comparing the two? Sounds like the outlander650 6x6 is a more high performance machine, but by how much?

Can AM are know for high HP for there displacement class.
Example a 650 Outlander is rated at 60hp vs a Kawasaki 750 Brute Force is 50hp.

Keep in mind the 650 needs higher rpm to make 60hp then while the Brute makes 50hp lazily and has more low grunt torque.

Heck, the new outlander 450 is rated at 38hp and its a single. That's the same hp as a 680 Honda Rincon, but once again the 680 will be a ft/lb torque monster vs the 450.

Here is your two ATVs side by side in specs. (look under "Drive") very interesting.2015 Can-Am Outlander™ 6x6 XT™ 650 ATVs
The Can AM I find are over priced but it has 10hp over the 800 trail boss even with a 150cc disadvantage.
It has larger 26" tires on alloy rims vs the Trail Boss 25" Tires on cheaper heavier steel rims.

But I highly doubt that's worth the extra $3,650 dollars in the MSRP value. You can buy a lot of nice tires and rims for that.

Also if these specs and (above link) are correct the Can-AM is 2wd rear or 4x4 front with rear http://www.atv.com/specs/can-am/util...x6/650-xt.html while the TB800 is 4x4 rear or full 6x6.
So its 4wd vs 6wd meaning the back wheels of the XT are dead rollers while the rear axle of the TB is powered.

TB specs look under "drive line" of both ATVs.

Unless both links with specs are wrong or misprints. If I had six wheels I want all of them turning not just 4 of them for my extra $3,650.

For the extra money you get a 3000 lb. Warn winch, heavy duty front bumper, power steering that lets you select Minimum, Medium, and Maximum assist, dual level cargo box, aluminum wheels, 625 watt magneto (don't have to worry about adding electrical accessories), quick release sway bar for better articulation in rough terrain, integrated hand guards, digital anti-theft key like the transponders that come in car keys. I think they're worth that much if not more. I noticed that it doesn't say six wheel drive on their spec sheet but I'm pretty sure it has it. Watch:
You'll see times where all three wheels are spinning on one side. If worse comes to worse you can ask the dealer. So, for me it would come down to whether I wanted the fancier 6x6 with all the bells and whistles or an, also very capable, 6x6 with bare bones features.

The spec links sure must be wrong. I seen all 3 wheels turning on one side for sure on that video.

I found that nuts that Can-AM would make a 4wd only 6wheeler.

Yeah, wouldn't make sense to me either.

I saw a can am video that said the turning diameter for the 6x6 xt was 9meter and 10meter for the big boss. does that sound right? I wouldn't imagine these would turn any wider than most UTVs?

It's the length of the things and that there are two axles pushing against the steering rather than one in the rear. It's too bad Polaris doesn't put the Turf Mode they have on some models. I had it on a Sportsman X2 and it helped in tight steering and didn't chew up the lawn as much. It unlocks the inner rear wheel in corners so you essentially have one wheel drive. Nice feature. If the put it on both the rear and middle axles it would have a tighter turning radius.
