Hey, my predator 500 runs well when just cruising around, but when I open it up and get into high revs it misfires badly!!! Any ideas? Cheers

 

This can be anything from trash in the carb,water in the fuel, running lean,electrical problems,etc. Start at the easy stuff first like checking/ changing spark plug. See that you have good fuel supply to the carb,check the carb itself for possible trash/stopped up jets.Plus on the Predator and Outlaw,valve lash had to be checked/adjusted frequently.Best to have the service manual and trouble shooting guides and tests that can help you find the problem.You don't say what year model,but this place has all year models for 5 bucks. 2004 Polaris Predator 500 Service Manual PDF Download
