I bought the Kendas for my Xplorer in the same size that mine called for and they were a lot smaller than the factory size. I went with Carlisle tires instead and returned the Kendas

Lot of helpful videos on you tube. Have about 3/8"-1/2" free play at the top middle part of the chain. All the older models were basically the same on the chain adjustment.

Were they shorter? can you fix a rip in a tire? I love the stock tires and they have good tread left.... Tires are a freaking joke man!

They were A LOT shorter. I ordered the exact size my Xplorer took, AT25x12-10 and I got tires that were almost 2 inches shorter when installed. Sent them back and got a set of Carlisle AT 489C tires that closely matched the Dunlops that I took off.

They seem very good and ride nice. I dont do a lot of mudding with my ATV's, but I do use my Xplorer to make wood in the winter and plow snow also. I know since I put them on, it seems unstoppable in what I use it for. I am looking to replace the original tires on my 1993 350L 4x4 with something like ITP Mud Lites, but I am waiting for a friend to put them on his 97 Sportsman to see how they work first.

A friend's dad has them on a bear tracker, and the Mud Lites SUCK!!! He gets flats all the time and they're not a great trail tire. My friend also has bear claws on his '98 honda 300, and they run true to size, and he hasnt had a single flat in the 2 years he's had them. I do love the 489's though, even if they're 20-30 bucks more than bear claws.
