Same old tire size question
#1
06 800 sportsman, EPI Mudder clutch kit being purchased this week when I find a good price....not going well.
Any way I put the Swamp-lites on my 550 and really like them for their price. I put 28s on there and looks great and has plenty of clearance. I would like to know if any of you have 29.5s on your bike w/o a lift kit. ready to order but going between 28s and 29.5's.
Cannot find overall tire height for the 29.5s even on Interco's website.
Thanks for any input.

you will need a lift kit for that size. I had 27" on mine and that is about as big you can go w/ out any issues of rubbing. I only had a Dalton primary spring in mine but you may want more if you put that big of tire on.

well I went with the 28 10 12's which are about an inch taller than the 28 9 14's on my 550
im guessing its due to larger lugs on the 10" tire
i had the front tire hit the foot well once on a hard hit into a hole, but overall, they are great.
while cleaning bike though i did find the bushings were all falling apart so bushings all around and spacer for front springs and she will tighten right up.
