Pull the speedo connector and grease it with electrical grease, plus do the same for the gear selector switch on the tranny. May be as simple as getting an intermittent signal to the speedo.

Can anyone tell me what the white 3 prong plug under the front lid with all of the other wires is? It just looks out of place.

Old polaris tech, I just greased them up and still no light. Also how do you check the front differential fluid and how do you add fluid?? My polaris dealer always did it for me

The plug is just a test plug that they hooked up to on the assembly line to test the electronics. Just tuck it up back out of the way. Your best bet on tracking down the problem is to have the wiring schematic and trouble shooting guide that the manual has.Better than going at it blindly. Worth the 5 bucks for this problem, future problems and service related items such as fluids needed and capacities. 2006 Polaris Magnum 330 Service Manual PDF Download

Check the pins in the speedo connector. All it takes is for one pin to push back a little for it to have an intermittent contact.Or a pinched wire can do the same thing.
