Default GBC Spartacus or ITP Mudlite XTR?

I have a Polaris Ranger EV which is electric and need a tire that cleans very well but rides smooth at slow speed on hard pack. The EV will run close to 30mph with 26" tires on it but normally I run 5-15mph. Obviously, i'm after quietness and no vibration as I'm using this for hunting. The EV will be used in Ohio where the mud is very black, slick and most importantly very sticky so a self cleaning tire is very important. To date I have tried a Carisle ACT HD in 26x11x12 rear and 26x9x12 fronts. Tires did great except have a awful vibration at low speed (sold). Next up is 26x9x14 and 26x11x14 Sadona RipSaws. Smooth at low speed on hard pack but retain mud like no ones business (sold). Next are same size Swamp Fox Plus which have the same issue as the ACT HD's (sold). So now I'm looking for hopefully my last set of tires. So at this point I'm trying to decide which would be the best for my application which i realize is a little different than most. Should I keep current Polaris 14" rims and go with the GBC Spartacus or go with maybe a No Limit 12" and do the ITP Mudlite XTR's that look like they clean really well. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you,

I had real good luck the the xtr's on my 800's I had. they cleaned fairly good and didn't ride real hard like the 589's do. they wore decent as well. can't really speak to the mud like you have but in regular they do really good just my .02

You should look at 26" Maxxis Zillas, they are one of the lightest tires on the market, and do mud well. If your EV has 14" wheels on it from thefactory, you wont be able to put 12" wheels on it, they wont clear the brakes.

It actually came with 12" wheels which i still have. Then I purchased their Sixr wheel kit that comes with Sadona Rip Saws. Loved the tire but they gum up with mud something fierce. Now want to make one more change (last one i hope) so looking for your guys help. Since this is a Polaris EV (electric) i need something with very low vibration but still cleans out well in sticky black mud. I really like the looks of the GBC Spartacus but read somewhere that they vibrate at low speed to. So basically i'm considering the Mudlite XTR and GBC Spartacus but would also consider others. Just need a tire payload rating of about 700lbs or more due the the EV's hefty weight of 1750 without cargo.

I doubt there are any aggressive mud tires that don't vibrate at least a little at slow speeds. Big lugs just do that. It being an EV, lighter would be better since heavier tires need more power and the EV doesn't have as much power as the gas engines. If the Zillas are rated to handle the weight, I can't think of a better choice. You can get better mud performance but the extra weight will really bog the machine down.

I don't think most ATV tires are made to handle that kind of weight. Some UTV tires are made with thicker sidewalls and would be a better choice.

The Zillas definitely aren't designed to handle that sort of weight. A good atv tire but from the specs, not for utvs. 410lbs for the 26x8x12 fronts and 480 lbs for the 26x11x12 rears so basically right at their limit for the empty machine.

This is why I'm on the GBC Spartacus. Has a high payload rating and doesn't look like it will vibrate or ride rough. Thoughts?

Also if running it at lower speeds (not hot rodding it on trails/corners) 12" rims/tires will give a more plush ride.
