I have a polaris winch that i acquired. It has a broken part internally. I cannot identify the part and cant find a manual or parts breakdown anywhere. Does anyone have an idea of the name of the part and maybe where to purchase? The winch only has the polaris name and 2500 lb 12 volt on it, no other markings.

 

well I'm pretty sure Polaris does not make their own winch. it's basically a Chinese knock off. most of these cheaper winches are all the same for parts i do believe. gorilla, viper(not sure on that one) and i'm sure more have roughly the same parts in them. if i had my old warn winch book i could tell you in the parts break down what that is but i knew it away sorry to say.

i just looked at warn set up for parts and they are nothing like yours so, unlike years ago warn didnt make it for polaris.

 

Have you found the part yet? I have the same problem.
