After researching them to death, I bought the Garmin Oregon 450T. It's various features seem the most usable and desirable for ATV use. I also have used it on horseback a lot. You can click in a waypoint that's the best place to cross a creek or whatever. Plus it will leave a pink/purple ribbon on the map screen as you travel and all you have to do is follow it back, no more having to remember what fork in the trail to take on the return trip. You can see all the features of all the models on GPS city.com unless they changed their site. I think you can also download any manual for any model to check on use and features through Google.

At the summer solstice, the Sun rises as far to the northeast as it ever does, and sets as far to the northwest. Every day after that, the Sun rises a tiny bit further south. At the fall equinox, the Sun rises due east and sets due west.

I like Garmin. Mine is really ancient so I know they hold up well. I like to use a handlebar mount made just for my model by RAM mounts. The base part with the ball U-bolts to the handlebars and it only takes a few seconds to mount the GPS to it or dismount it. It swivels around where you want it and stays put. Me too, Jumbofrank, can't beat the quality of the Ram mounts, plus many choices.
