Default Winch remote FAIL

I bought a the wireless winch remote to enable winch loading in the back of pickup. When in unboxing this weekend to setup for a dry run, noticed missing instructions. After looking it over could I have the wrong product? I found no help online.

I wonder why it says Ranger on the box if it's for an ATV.

That's my question. This is what the dealer issued me. Could both Atvs and SxS use the same remotes on their Warn winch?

Thanks,

There's no proprietary control for winches , just Polaris has plugs so " anyone " can plug it together .
I can't see all the wire colors in you picture , but the red wire with the ring terminal will go a switched positive , the black wire to ground and the two remaining wires go to the in and out connections on the winch contactor . If the in and out are backwards reverse the wires at the contactor .

Update: Well the service tech at my dealership couldn't tell me anything said look it up on YouTube. They opened another box and no instructions there either. I got exhausted looking at YT videos, nothing specific to Polaris Atv Sportsman for Wireless remote control add install.

Anyone, anyone,

Thanks,

R'
