Default 570 Snorkel Question

Ok, I have had my 570 now for about a month and my son has practically taken it over. Here is my main concern: We love to ride and get muddy, some really sloppy but nothing like crossing a river. He is putting in for me to snorkel it, but I feel like if I do this, it will give him a false sense of security. I have talked with several that feel like it would help save the bike, just in case and others who feel the same as I do. What are you thoughts on snorkels? Finally, if I did go with snorkels, has anyone ever heard of only running them up into the front storage box? I really don't want to start cutting holes all in my bike. I also thought of only cutting the small center section inside my front storage box. Thoughts.

5 month more and do what you want.. If you snorkel it now and IF anything happens, most dealers will refuse any possible warranty claims along with Polaris themselves. If you're afraid he's gonna tear it up or damage it in any way,get him a cheap one that he can destroy and make him repair it if he does.

Yeah pretty much any warranty is null and void if you put on something like a snorkel.

Buy him an old 400HO/500HO and let him snorkel that, then let him fix it when it breaks. Mudding/deep water gets spendy, no way I'd do that to a new ATV.

No need if not going over the factory air intake for airbox and clutch and clutch exhaust. I would recommend either extending all of the diff and tranny vent lines up in to the headlight pod and/or adding the one-way check valves to them like the gas vent (pretty cheap from Polaris). You can also get some outerwears and secure them over the air/clutch intake tubes. They repel water and are a cheaper solution than adding snorkels.

SnorkelYourATV has kits for @ $200. Can also do a google search and find info to do your own.

Here's a nice kit that comes through the front fenders.
