Default Polaris Magnum 425 Shooting Oil From Crankcase Tube(With Pictures)

I finally got my magnum running after about a year of sitting and it almost instantly starting shooting oil from a tube coming from the crankcase to under the exhaust on the right side. It's not a little squirt it's a puddle of hot oil shooting out in about 10 seconds. I've read that the tube should connect to the airbox but my airbox doesn't have a tube going but has a hose nipple so I'm guessing this one goes there. I've also read that sometimes when an engine sits a while oil leaks down and when started pushes it out? Any help would be very thankful!

If the hose is just hanging down oil can pump out. Depending on what model you have most have an inline filter and hook to the bottom of the air box nipple.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
