Polaris Coolant

A lot of the machines have gone to 60/40,but 50/50 is still ok. Doesn't really matter what brand,Zerex,Prestone,Peak, etc as most are all rated for aluminum radiators now any way and not necessary to but expensive dealer brand coolant. Check the radiator level when cooled down, top it off first then the overflow to the max line. Shouldn't have to bleed the system if it hasn't been running hot on you and level isn't too low. Check for any leaks on the hoses, radiator area and around the water pump weep hole located at the bottom of the housing. You'll see coolant on the frame in most cases if it's been leaking there.

Thanks, OPT.
Just to be sure is this stuff ok?
This place is near my house, prefer to shop there. Says safe for aluminum. Is there a better brand, or will this work.

Is Polaris using one of the various flavors of Ethylene Glycol Acid Technology extended life anti-freeze formulations or is it the good ole "GREEN Prestone" Propylene Glycol aluminum safe Silicate anti-freeze.
Most of the auto manufacturers have moved to POAT, HOAT, OAT, IAT, etc and they don't tend to mix well with the old silicate formulations.
More than you ever wanted to know about coolants...
Antifreeze types iat, poat, hoat, nmoat. Recycled coolants.
