Default 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400 won't start

My 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400 will not start. There is a fuel leak in the On/Off switch on the side of the bike. Don't know why. Also fuel does not go through carb. The bike has been idle for 2 years. Please help.

Sitting 2 years I can imagine what the carb looks like inside.. fresh gas, keep stabilizer in it and on this I'd use a good quality rebuild kit. POLARIS SPORTSMAN 400 CARBURETOR CARB REPAIR REBUILD KIT 2003 2004 2005 NEW | eBay On the right side of the carb is the vacuum line leading to the fuel pump. Remove this line and also the line at the lower part of the carb. Put a mity vac or even suck on the vacuum line and see if the pump is working.Even the filter could be part of the problem if gas is not getting to the carb. If the pump is bad, plenty of cheap replacements on ebay, amazon, etc. US Ship New ATV Fuel Pump For Sportsman 500 HO 2010/400 2001-2004 2002 2003 | eBay Fuel valve replacements are available here or Partzilla,Cheap Cycle Parts, etc for about 20 bucks. 2004 Polaris A04CH42AA SPORTSMAN 400 (A04CH42AA/AE/AG) Fuel Tank | Cycle Parts Warehouse
A cheap 5 buck sevice manual can help on service and repairs. I'd definitely change oil and filter and service the gear case, air filter, etc. http://polaris-atv.brssm.com/2004-Po...ce-Manual.html
