Thanks everyone. But back to my original question. Would it hurt if both front and rear had the same size/height tires.

Yes, it may throw off the 4wd system and mess things up. If you want to go up a tire size (and I wouldn't go up more than one size) make sure they still have a 1" diameter difference.
